whole, connected and free

I am feeling very spiritually alive. Perhaps it is because of all the carrot and beet juice I've been drinking. Either way I feel whole, connected and free.

I'm learning so much it feels like my headspace is stretched open with all these new pathways of information; in my minds eye it looks like webs of all things that make sense and fit together. All through my life I was a bit educationally withdrawn and learning things in school didn't always come easy because I was often so uninterested and hated being forced to learn things that did not apply to me. In absolute contrast I am now absorbing so fluidly the concepts and information that I am eager to understand and so strongly interested in and passionate about. Everything makes sense.

Though so much in life never makes sense... there are many uncomfortably baffling things on my mind these days but now is not the time to discuss.

Yesterday in class we meditated and observed our energy fields and I am very excited to learn different techniques pertaining to energy work. Oh, the Universe! How I love the powerful force that it is!

LOVE on a hot day

Green juice!

Ello!

I wanted to share some things I made today that was so nice and refreshing for this almost-unbearably hot, humid, sticky 40+ degree weather that is making me feel like I'm made of double-sided tape.

Green juice! ~
  • 1 full large bunch of kale
  • 4-5 stalks celery
  • 6 carrots
  • 2 green apples
  • small bunch of fresh dill.
And the best part... raw vegan banana ice cream!

Raw vegan ice-cream!

I have been wanting to try out this magnificent loveliness, and that I did. I have most definitely discovered my new favourite sweet treat that feels like I'm eating the most decadent, thick, creamy dessert except it's just frozen bananas. SoOoOo what you're gonna do is take a couple ripe bananas, peel em' and stick'em in the freezer. Once they're hard as a rock you're gonna throw those bad boys into a blender, maybe splash a bit o' water in there or some almond milk (which I did today, yummo!) and blend those babies right up. And it turns into this thick, icy icy icy delicious scrumptious dreamy creamy texture full of love and delight. You could even add a spoonful of raw cacao to make it chocolatey, or some berries to make it berry-flavoured. Or almond butter or peanut butter or coconut or ANYTHING! Take a walk on the wild side with this one man.

So that is that!

Life Force

I am drinking some green juice that I just freshly juiced with my juicer, and I want to talk about the Life Force.
All [raw] fruits and vegetables and herbs and sprouts are alive. They have life contained within them. When you consume them, you are invariably drinking in that life. Also known as the Life Force. When you drink in that life, you can feel it. You can feel the nutrients run through your blood.
They detoxify you and replenish you at a cellular level. They regenerate and rejuvenate, alkalize and purify. When most people eat they don't ever think twice about what occurs at a cellular level. Our cells know how we feel, what we think, what we consume. When we eat pure, nourishing foods that are intended to energize, awaken and provide true, natural health to us, our cells and everything contained inside of us benefit. You know this because you can feel it.
When your body is purified with whole, natural, particularly uncooked, unmodified or changed in any way foods, you are uplifted and enlightened and happy and connected with the Whole itself. You don't feel disconnected or dislodged from Source, that being yourself and the Universe. You're not weighed down with chemical, toxin-pumped modified foods that are depleted of all Life Force. You are One.
This post is becoming a wee bit more intense and spiritual than I intended, but how can I not get into the topics of the Universe and being connected when discussing foods are are essentially from the Universe itself? It's all interconnected in all ways. Who, what and where we are is all One, to say the least.

If you are lacking the feelings inside you that radiate Oneness, then I assure you if you just simply eat primarily, not necessarily entirely, but a lot of fruits, vegetables, herbs, sprouts, some nuts and seeds, you will begin to feel that connection with yourself and the Earth. It makes complete and utter sense.

Anyways. I just wanted to discuss the Life Force whilst drinking my Life Force-filled green juice.
Sending all who read this love, peace, joy and positive vibrations :)
