Lessons & Release
I went for a walk yesterday afternoon. Stood on a breezy cliff, sat on a field. It was mild for a December day. The sunny sun beamed as the wind seeped down my neck, beneath my heavy parka.
Patience, strength, release. I feel as though life has been speaking to me through lessons, weaving its cosmic words through the fabric of my existence.
A plethora of emotion, strange events, negative energy and healing has been at the forefront of my days. I see it all as major, monumental lessons. It's funny that so much internal darkness is being brought into the light; there is major shifting occurring in my life as is with others.
Acknowledging and releasing much of the dormant, lingering negative energy that has been residing inside of me has been in the limelight, so to speak. It's seemingly befitting for the magical yet nonsensical happenings of these very days. Lots of my healing lately has been with the help of my dear kindreds, as well as alone in sweet solitude. Writing, speaking out loud to my Higher Self and some magical emotional freedom technique have been my allies. Still though, I am allowing myself the space and time to process and marinate in all of the changes around me as I prepare for 2013's new beginning just around the corner. Oh how I am eager to write about my wretched year of 2012! Fun indeed! But in all honesty, I am very ready to start anew...
I think I should transfer all of my poetry and blog posts over from my Free Spirit Journal to here, so that I have it all in one place. Operating two blogs makes me feel messy and uneasy.

Lunar Shenanigans
Polona said it well when she explained the intensity behind November 28th's full moon and lunar eclipse:
"In these times of the intense energies that are culminating around the lunar eclipse today, we are asked to bring anything that still lies in the dark, into the Light of the Truth ... Symbolically, the Moon represents our shadow (that which is not aware), as the Sun represents our Light (our awareness), so as the Moon passes through, the shadow wishes to be exposed to the Light. We are asked to just BE and allow the new awareness to rise up to the surface. Know that we cannot run from anything, especially ourselves, because we experience through our own existence. We have to face everything head on, with honesty, courage and devotion."
It is exactly the concept of this that I have been experiencing, and with great intensity indeed! A lot of supressed intuitive callings within me have been bursting and truly brought into the light. Much of my "shadow", so to speak, has certainly been exposed and tested. It's always so funny when I notice that I experience particularly trying situations around a time when such experiences would be called for. This lunar eclipse has been fierce, that is for sure.
Breathe, allow, be. Release resistance. Acknowledge the ego, our egoic thought patterns, and observe them passing through and out. These days we really require that extra gentleness and understanding within ourselves.

Fall, Energy & Magical Lettuce
favourite peasant skirt & boots
I LOVE FALL!
It is the ULTIMATE season of flow and peace and it is delicate and calm and elegant. I went to the farmers market the other day and I got a big head of un-poisoned romaine lettuce and I ate that thing. I ate it. It had a lady bug in a leaf and some other fuzzy green bugs that I let outside and although I felt moderately disgusted and apprehensive while I ate it, I deeply appreciated the life it embodied. Then I did some very liberating yoga. Seriously my body must have been a bound ball of elastic because when I stretched in all ways it was like releasing a dove into the sky. That is how beautiful it felt. Oh and then I danced like I was in a theatrical performance. And then I went for a walk under the sun in the chilly air and at work I was a ball of energy. I felt like I was on drugs.
I give credit to the lettuce. And the sunshine and the cool air and the season of fall because I love it so. The trees and colours still have much more to offer before all is white dust.
I am currently fascinated by intestines. That is what I am presently learning about.

Ground & Release
Yesterday I had a very exciting EPFX quantum bio-feedback session with the wonderful Leija Turunen (www.youtube.com/leijaturunen). I'm not even going to attempt to explain how this device works, it involves quantum physics and it's complicated to say the least. But essentially, it's able to tune into your individual self and detect anything from nutritional deficiencies, food sensitivites, to emotional and mental imbalances and energetic/spiritual blocks. It's very specific to you! It also is able to see your aura and chakras!!
One of the main things it picked up for me was stress, particularly related to daily frustrations (i.e. work... I've had a ton of stress and frustration revolving around my current work situation). It picked up the imbalance in the back of my neck, as I had a concussion a year ago which resulted in neck problems. Along with so many other super cool things, it picked up that I would benefit from more B vitamins, more foods containing sulfur (broccoli, brussel sprouts), chamomile tea, cayenne pepper, the list goes on! I am sensitive to beer, cooked vegetable oil and cow hair ;). Oh also my kidneys need a good cleansing! I could go on forever about the things this device detects for you but I suppose the main things were that I need more grounding, connecting with nature, relaxation and oxygen (like cardio).
The coolest part was how the device is able to "clear" your blocks and imbalances... and today I can definitely feel some release happening. I've noticed a tremendous inclination to bond with nature, more than usual. Hence why I went for a long walk today and sat barefoot on the grass absorbing the energy from the sun! I feel good.
Leija gave me a few samples of some extremely delicious smelling herbal teas as well as a few spoonfuls of chlorella! I put some of that in my smoothie today and danced around my room. My favourite thing to do to boost my mood and get some cardio without even noticing.
Ahhh here's the cool picture of my aura!! You can see the aura goes outside the lines, meaning it is powerful!

Stretch
I feel so connected.
I have been doing lots of yoga and meditating these days and I am feeling so deeply connected to myself. Connected to the deep layers within me, the thorough awareness, radiating Oneness and vibrant aliveness that is found at the core of our Being. I can feel my creative juices loosening and my mind clearing. The feelings that stretching brings, when you raise your arms up and bend to the side; when you swan-dive downwards and feel the stretch and expansion along your back; when you can feel the equalization of muscle relaxation and emotional release. I sometimes find myself feeling emotional when I am centering myself into the state of pure inner awareness as I breathe deeply and stretch my body.
I know for absolute certainty that all the fresh, lively, energetic raw foods from the Earth that I have been eating have been electrifying my soul and lifting my consciousness up and beyond. I have been reaping the benefits of a state of ultra mental clarity and peace and love and wonder and contentment and basically, if you take all the beautiful things in the world like trees and air and daisies and a waterfall and you squash them together into a molded form of love and then turn it into an effervescent spirit of exuberance and then breathe it in deeply, that's how I feel.
MAN I feel GOOD! You know what I'm feeling right now?

Raw Foods and a Juicer
I've been in such a happy mood lately, today especially. Since I've begun buying all my own foods, which I LOVE doing, I've discovered a lot of cool info on raw foods and the benefits and importance of consuming food in that way. I went to the health food store today (my goodness I love those stores) and picked up some Nori (seaweed sheets) and some vanilla almond milk. The man who worked there gave me the number of a business that delivers organic vegetables and fruits to your house! I'm totally going to look into that. I also took a trip to the grocery store and picked up nothing but tons and tons of fresh veg and fruit.
So I've been totally digging the raw stuff. Eating food raw allows you to get all the nutrients without scorching them on a pan. And so today I went out and bought myself a juicer! And oh my, it was the best decision I've made. I made a carrot, pear, spinach and celery juice and it tasted so wonderful. It was so smooth. It was the perfect mixture of life. And by life I mean, living foods. Literally, and I mean literally, once I started drinking it I actually was lifted with life energy! You know what I mean? Totally energized with LIFE from the EARTH! It was the most beautifully perfect way to be closest to nature. I already feel one with nature, so drinking nature was like fusing to nature in a whole new realm. It's not anything like pre-manufactured veggie drinks, this is the real deal man. All the nutrients go straight to your blood since there's barely a need to digest so it's like instant Mother Earth nature-life-energy.
Basically, I love it and I totally recommend a juicer because of the tremendously unbelievably delightful health benefits. And energy. And taste.
